This project proposes developing online curriculum to train more educators in schools (particularly public schools) about technology so they can then teach their students, especially women and minorities who may not have the opportunity to learn otherwise. Public school teachers are required to complete 20 hours of professional development each year. This online curriculum would be structured in a tutorial format that educators could work through and count toward their professional development hours. By focusing on the training of educators vs. students this project attempts to disperse tech education more quickly.
